Who Am I?
My approach is trauma informed, compassionate, direct, strengths-based, and collaborative.
Education / Training
Associates Degree in Arts & Sciences from HCC in 2001, Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services with a minor in Sociology from University of Hartford in 2004, and Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work in 2008.

Additional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), adoption competency (becoming an adoption competent therapist) and providing trauma informed treatment
Work Experience
I have experience working in preschools, residential programs and outpatient settings. I have worked with preschool children who were at risk for being expelled from preschool due to their behaviors. I have worked in an outpatient setting with children, youth, adults and families ages 3 to 40. I have worked in a residential substance abuse treatment program for women and their children. I have worked with mothers suffering from postpartum depression. I have worked with latency aged children and adolescents in residential programs. I have also worked as an administrator overseeing residential programs and supervising clinicians and interns.

In addition, I have served as an adjunct faculty member in the Social Work Department at Westfield State University and in the Psychology Department at Salter College.
